4. May 29th, Friday - Gilberto Santa Rosa y Victor Manuelle at George Mason University's Patriot Center at 9pm at 4400 University Drive, Fairfax, VA, tickets are $41 to $81 at www.ticketmaster.com!  This is a concert with both wonderful Puerto Rican gentlemen singing their best--if you have never heard live salsa, these two are two of the very best!!!!  Gilberto Santa Rosa is know as "El Caballero de la Salsa" and once you've heard him seen, "Perdoname", you'll will understand why!  Victor Manuelle's "Dile a Ella and Asi es La Mujer" are incredible---I'll never forget seeing him at the Hilton in his light blue suit!  The concert is called, "La Historia Continua".  Gilber to Santa Rosa once sang with Willie Rosario y su Orquesta and Victor Manuelle has been produced by none other than Sergio George who has produced Marc Anthony, DLG and countless others.......es un concierto que "Vale La Pena"!  Both are few if the remaining soneros---salsa artists that change their songs and make them sound different often by putting the band and the audience into the song at an event......and just play off of each other, their fellow musicians and the audience--it's a dying art among salsa artists.  The only down part of this event is that this is a sit down concert and not a dance---I realy want to go but I have a really hard time listening without being able to get up and dance!!!

5.  May 30th---Grace's last night at The Ark, 29 South Front St., Baltimore, MD --- Grace and Hugo are leaving the DC/Baltimore area to move to Tampa, Florida......we wish them a safe and happy trip and all the best there.....salsa places are dwindling in the Baltimore, MD area but there are a few new places springing up outside of Baltimore, MD, details listed below on the club list.

6.  Jeri's Salsa Practice Party on Sunday, June 21st---let's kick off the summer with our last party til the fall at the Cherrydale Firehouse at 3900 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA---bring a dish to share and your dance shoes and let's dance the night away.  Jeri is also celebrating her b'day!
